Gray’s Anatomy; whether you have ever studied medicine or not, it’s likely that you know of this medical text full of beautiful anatomical drawings. But who was Mr Gray?

No we’re not talking about that pillock in 50 Shades of Abuse. Mr Henry Gray wrote Gray’s Anatomy, the original illustrated anatomy textbook on which the name of the over-the-top hospital drama is based (seriously why would anyone work at Seattle Grace? Although I guess with all the McDreamy and McSteamy…no there’s still no reason to stick around with bombs, plane crashes, and relationship issues everywhere you look. I admit, I gave up about 4 seasons in). The illustration shown here of the blood vessels of the neck from Gray’s Anatomy was actually drawn by a ‘friend’ of Henry Gray called Henry Vandyke Carter. Check out my YouTube video where I spill the tea on the controversy surrounding Gray’s Anatomy and another anatomical text which actually included pin-up style photographs of naked women in an attempt to ‘spice up’ this medical text. I also show you how to use the beautiful illustrations found in earlier editions of Gray’s Anatomy to decoupage some place mats….but you can use this craft on pretty much whatever you like! Plus, what’s better than decoupaging with (anatomical and educational) dick pics?
